The Queensborough bridge celebrated its 100th anniversary and I camped in the Gantries of Long Island City (for about 2 hours) to get a good spot to see the fireworks.

Portfolio Parade
Friday, May 22nd, 2009Yesterday I tried the PDN online trade show and found a website where you can have your portfolio online in a very few steps.
You can try it for FREE and upload up to 30 pictures and your gallery will have the Parade logo, but if you want to change the design, have pictures and different gadgets, you’ll have to pay $$ monthly for the service, it’s adjustable to your needs and your pocket too. They have three packages: Basic, Standard and Professional. (Check the prices here.)
I created my gallery to check how Parade works. you can see it here: nanynany.paradepro.com.
Give it a try at getparade.com
After I registered it took me a little time to find out how to change my settings and where to upload the pictures, but the link that you have to follow is http://[yourname].paradepro.com/parade, just login and you’re ready to go.
You can use your own domain, but at least it will be part of the “Basic” package. It’s worth it to give it a try, you can cancel any time because the payment is month-to-month.
Check the getParade FAQ if you want to learn more about how it works or check the ParadeWiki for the start guide, if you want to know how to create new designs, custom backgrounds and more.
After you’re all done with your gallery come back to nanynany.com and leave a comment with the link to your portfolio parade!
