Hi! My name is Arianys. Thank you for stopping by!
Just moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn and still super close to Long Island City, I\'m expecting my first baby boy and super happy with life.
Kids Photography is my passion and what I love to do.
Here you will find everything about my work and my recent shoots, personal projects and also the beautiful images I create for my clients.
The first week of December 2010 I had a special portrait week for kids, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with amazing kids and families.
A very fun and high-energy session was with a beautiful girl named Mirabelle, she’s one of the happiest kids I’ve seen and I truly loved working with her and her family.
I had so much fun with her, inmediately after a few seconds warming up to the studio she was laughing and making funny faces =)
I love the wonderful relationship in this family and I’m glad I was able to capture those feelings.
Daddy time!
Enjoy more photos from this family session after the break! (more…)

The big race in New York City, one more year of a spectacular and motivational event; the NYC Marathon.
I was glad to take pictures of the NYC Marathon 2009, as well as the Miami Marathon in January 2010 where my brother participated.
I couldn’t miss to taking pictures and capturing the emotions of this day again and we woke up early to catch the first ones.
We were on Vernon Blvd in Long Island City.
The first ones to appear were the wheelchair division:
Elite Women
Elite Men
It was sunny and breezy, not too bad to run 26.2 miles. I think last year was even colder.
After the elite runners passed, we went to Cranky’s to warm up with a coffee and came back out to see the rest of the runners on 48th Ave (LIC).
Last week we went to the High Line with some friends. This was just my second time here (I visited last year) and I have to say it’s a very cool and interesting place to go, walk and enjoy the view from above.
Please enjoy these frozen moments at the High Line:
People relaxing on the benches…
I love the view of the Meatpacking District from above
Intersections…
Something that wasn’t there last year are these messages on a parking lot that is under the High Line
The Maker Faire just passed last weekend, this was my first one and I loved it!.. Everything related with art, photography and technology fix perfectly to me =) I love gadgets and geeky stuff =)
Here are some of my favorite pics of the day:
One of the highlights was a Technology Fashion Show by Diana Eng .. Can I ask for more?
This dress is called “Cameo Capelet”
This is the “Floating Dreams Dress”
I didn’t take my flash but I was able to ‘borrow’ the light of one of the flashes of the press photographers =)
This was at the New York Hall of Science, they have an amazing hall, the walls are all cover with stained glass and it used to be an exhibition of the museum there, now they use it just for special events.
On Sunday September 26th, 2010 I had the opportunity to take pictures of a beautiful birthday celebration for a one-year-old.
I met Sanaya Zara and her parents a few months ago when I was walking around Long Island City by the Gantry park and we found a family taking pictures of their daughter dressed in a tutu and sitting on a chair. She looked so cute that I couldn’t resist asking them if I could take a picture of her.
After that day we kept in touch and I sent them the picture. They wanted to use the picture for the invitation for Zara’s birthday and then told me they wanted me to shoot Zara’s Birthday party; I’m so glad they did =)
I took tons of pictures and yesterday I selected a few to put together a slideshow video:
Yesterday I met Juan Carlo Bermudez, the owner of [fLo rE sta]
All his flowers and designs are beautiful, with a great sense for color and creativity they create pieces of art with each arrangement.
They’re very attentive to their client’s needs and always paying attention to what they want. Even if you’re not sure and just want something with a specific color, they’ll make it happen for you.
This was their gift to me and here’s my gift to them =)
