Yesterday, January 31st 2010, we were at the Miami Marathon supporting my brother and the rest of the runners. After being at the NYC Marathon last year, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to be at this one, especially when someone important to us was running.
It was so inspiring to see so many people running together and for cheering each other.
We walked from mile 8 1/2 to the finish line (mile 13) and and the whole way we were cheering and and keeping the runners’ spirits up.
We passed by the cheering zone and along the way we saw a lot of bands playing music as well as people with signs supporting the runners and their causes.
This is how it looked after passing the water stations…

A lot of emotions during all the route but the finish line is where the adrenaline is higher… Here are some shots of people getting to the finish line:
After 26 miles this girl looks very fresh

My brother approaching the finish line.. Go Gubatron!
I’m very proud of my brother..
